We recently released a debut album. It's a mix of electronic and arabian styles. We're hoping it might appeal to the tribal and belly dance community, and also people that are into this sort of vibe and music. Please feel free to have a listen on myspace where we have four full tracks available to listen online.
It would also be great to promote it through the network of tribal and/or belly dance teachers who might be interested to sell it at a class or bazaar. We can offer it at wholesale prices with plenty of capacity for the seller to make a decent profit on top of the wholesale price.

Please contact info@nomadiqa.com for further details. Sorry for the self promotion.
I enjoyed hearing the band for the first time and bought the cd. Can't wait to listen to it all again. The dancers were a nice touch as well blending belly dance with world beats/rock/latin/tahitian & more! The second to last song of the night was neat as I loved the transition from rocking tones straight into a drum solo. Sweet.

Bill, really cool to see you play rock riffs on an oud. That's fusion!

I want to turn you on to my cd "Underwater Jihad"and upcomign cd "Bhang Ragga" which is basically a whole new direction of industrial music, punjabi bhangra, and dancehall, experimental sounds- putting it together in a non jungle/sample cd beats form, and giving it to you raw from the dark side of the asian underground that seems to be completely absent in the world today - tackling the ridiculous politics of today, living in 9/11 america with idiots, and a hate for freemasons.
Here I take vocalists from Jamaica, India, and beyond with live dhol, tabla, tumbi, double flute, insane dancehall and bhangra beats mashed together in a sound design futuristic style and much more. A dub style from beyond right now for all desi youth brought up in this country and all over who refuse to let their entire musical heritage be summed up by a bunch of sleazy club producers who just rip other people off like leeches- You will find no bad desis trying to rap or be dreadlocks, catchy club mixes that sound like 50 cent with out of time dhols, or adult contemporary "indian electronic" music. RecordLabelRecords is here to show these forms of music approached from a progression point of view, not commercial approval.
Check it- practicaly half the album is given away on the site and the newer tracks can be found directly here- posted today. Also, view the upcoming issue of XLR8R magazine to get tracks by me and other RLR artists with the magazine.
